"The Uncommon Core" by Jason Ohler

Jason Ohler lays out three concerns regarding creativity and the Common Core State Standards, explaining that creativity skills and the understanding of new media are missing from the CCSS English Language Arts standards. Ohler goes on to suggest four additions to the CCSS, dealing with creativity and technology, to support his argument that certain competencies and understandings should be included in the basic literacy standards.
