Overview
  • Module Description
    • Throughout history, military leaders have led conquests in an effort to increase their own or their country’s power. Some of the most exceptional of these leaders have been assigned the label “great” and continue to be featured in lessons on both history and military strategy. Due to his success in battle and the influence that success had on countless military commanders who followed, Alexander the Great is one such standard bearer. • A. Alexander, the young king of Macedonia, was the greatest military commander ever to lead an army into battle and is deserving of the title Alexander the Great.
      • B. Alexander, the young Macedonian king, was an exceptional military commander, but his many flaws should keep him from being considered great.
